Principal Scientist
Adam received his Ph.D. with honors in mathematical statistics and he is currently holding position of an assistant professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science at Wrocław University of Technology. He was also a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Public Health Sciences, University of Toronto. He is an author or co-author of about a dozen of scientific papers in the area of statistics and bioinformatics.
Adam's research interests include application of modern statistical and data mining methods in high-throughput omics data analysis, statistical methods for biomarker discovery, genomic data fusion as well as time series modeling and prediction.
Adam has been collaborating with MedicWave since the company’s beginning. He has been a research adviser and co-executor of R&D projects. He has been involved, either directly or as a consultant, in most of the important activities related to software development in MedicWave. He also was the main designer of Spectrolyzer's module of statistical data analysis. Thanks to him advanced statistical algorithms yielding reproducible biomarker candidates are implemented in our software.
Having strong relations with academia and remaining an active scientist Adam is always up to date with new prospective methods of MS data analysis. He is currently also our principal scientist and he coordinates our collaboration with Prof. Roman Zubarev on the project related to biomarker discovery for Alzheimer's disease. Adam is the editor of Spectrolyzer User's Manual.
Adam has a scientific and precise mind. He always investigates everything thoroughly and is aware of all the details. He is the statistical guru of our team.
