In this Tutorial a simple example is presented that will help you to start using the Spectrolyzer immediately. We show how typical MS proteomics data can be imported into the Spectrolyzer and how to perform standard data analysis task.
For illustrative purposes, we have chosen publicly available SELDI-ToF-MS ovarian cancer data as well as standard peak extraction algorithm followed by binning (peak clustering). Moreover, statistical analysis of the pre-processed data is illustrated using popular Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method.
Note that other steps that may be important when performing real MS proteomics data analysis were intentionally omitted. Please refer to our Manual if you are interested in importing other data types or if you want to know more about other analyses available in the Spectrolyzer.
